User Rating: / 1241
PoorBest

You can get current date and/or time in Java using the following method. You may change the date format in the constructor of SimpleDateFormat to get the result in a different format:

    import java.util.Date;
    import java.text.DateFormat;
    import java.text.SimpleDateFormat;

    private String getDateTime() {
        DateFormat dateFormat = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy/MM/dd HH:mm:ss");
        Date date = new Date();
        return dateFormat.format(date);
    }
