GoogleTalk in Eclipse - II
25 August 2008Now lets configure GoogleTalk in Eclipse. There is a ‘Communications’ perspective which you can switch to. There is a little button in the action bar which will let you add new accounts. If you click on the arrow to the right of it, a drop-down menu will appear with IRC, MSN, XMPP, XMPPS and BitTorrent.
Select the XMPPS one. You will get window asking for your username and password. Once you click on ‘Finish’, you’ll get a Contacts view, and from there, all of your Google contacts will be displayed. You can even set your status using the drop-down menu item at the top of the view.
Enjoy coding!
